The USC online Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Leadership program provides emerging managers and executives who work in GIST fields the opportunity to hone their GIS team and project management skills. With the guidance of industry experts, USC faculty and researchers, students in the geospatial leadership certificate program will be able to develop a personalized plan for how they will achieve their goals as geospatial leaders.

The program’s capstone course focuses on the practice of geospatial leadership. Students will have opportunities to consult with current leaders in the industry and receive advice specific to their career goals.

Geospatial Leadership Career Options

Individuals who successfully complete the geospatial leadership graduate certificate program will be well-equipped to advance their GIS careers or pursue master’s degrees in geographic information science and technology, or in human security and geospatial intelligence.
