How much is USC online tuition?

USC online programs are billed at the standard USC tuition rate. Please visit USC Financial Aid or your intended program’s website for more information. 

Which programs can you complete online at USC?

USC offers more than 100 online master’s degrees, doctoral programs and graduate certificates in a range of fields, including business, health, law, psychology, communications, engineering and more. You can find more information on our online Programs page.

Does USC offer online PhD degree programs?

Currently, USC does not offer any online PhD degree programs. We do, however, offer multiple online doctoral degrees, which can be found on our Programs page.

Can I pursue my master’s online at USC?

Yes, USC offers more than 80 online master’s degrees, and you can find more information about our programs on our Programs page.

Are USC online degrees accredited?

Yes, all online degrees pursued at USC are accredited. Please visit the USC Accreditation site for more information.

Does USC offer bachelor’s degrees online?

No, USC does not currently offer online bachelor’s degrees. 

Does USC offer online graduate programs for part-time students?

Yes, you can enroll in many of USC’s online graduate programs on a part-time basis. Contact a representative from your program of interest for more details and class schedules.

Are online graduate students required to carry health insurance?

USC requires our students to carry comprehensive health insurance. It is mandatory for all domestic students (including online and graduate programs) enrolled in six or more units. It is also mandatory for all Health Science Campus and international students enrolled in any number of units.

The university offers a USC Student Health Insurance Plan into which the students identified above will be automatically enrolled. Students will have the option to waive the USC Student Health Insurance Plan if they are already covered under another comprehensive health insurance policy that satisfies USC requirements. Prior to the start of the semester, students will receive communication from USC Student Health stating the opening and closing dates of the waiver request process.

How do I apply for USC online programs?

After deciding upon the program of your choice, visit Apply to USC to review the application process and checklist, including important dates and deadlines. For specific application requirements, visit the website for your intended program of study. 

What are the admission requirements for USC online programs?

In most cases, admission and enrollment requirements for USC’s online programs are the same as those for on-campus programs. As each program will have specific requirements and procedures, please visit your intended program’s website for more details. 

Do I need GRE or GMAT scores for admission to USC?

Most programs require either GRE or GMAT scores, but test requirements vary by degree. For more information on admission requirements, please visit the website from your program of choice.
