Description

Two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain woes continue to shake industries, specifically the shortages of key components that make or break the production cycles.

With persistent issues in the supply chain, many dependents on this industry have shifted their focus from “cost efficiency” to flexibility, agility and resilience. The transformation in the supply chain has led companies to focus more on opportunity — realignment of processes, upside supply chain flexibility and making use of data and analytics.

In this panel, experts discuss the supply chain issues bought by the COVID-19 pandemic, how digital transformation has been key in mitigating these issues, how companies are strategizing their product cycles and what lies ahead amid the digital revolution in the industry.

The panel features Tathagata Dasgupta, adjunct professor of data sciences at USC Marshall School of Business; Dheera Anand, senior manager of business consulting – supply chain and operations at Ernst and Young LLP; and Falan Yinug, director of economic strategy at Qualcomm. The panel is moderated by D. Daniel Sokol, professor at USC Gould School of Law and USC Marshall.
