Military Students at USC
Military experience is the basis for your next success.
USC has a long history of supporting the United States military and veterans, going back to World War I, when our campus served as a military training school.
From those days to today, USC has developed into a leading institution for innovative military strategies, technologies, academics, training, and support. USC’s online degree programs have become a key part of that legacy.
Our online programs give students the freedom to take world-class higher education courses with the same level of academic rigor, professors, and opportunities as our on-campus classes, and we work with you to make sure that you can be successful whether at home or abroad.
Success Story: Major Mike Nicholson

Mike Nicholson applied for admission to the online Master of Communication Management (MCM) program at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, he knew he might soon receive orders to deploy to Afghanistan. Major Nicholson completed his degree in 2013 while on active duty in the U.S. Army.
